Carl Diver Advanced Manufacturing Consulting Ltd
Donegal County Enterprise Board Business Awards
Innovation award winner
CDAMC was established to provide their customers with a facility where new technologies, such as electrochemical machining, can be explored. It does not necessarily have to be a new technology, but it may be a new technology for that customer. CDAMC works with customers to evaluate the manufacturing methods that they are currently using, or proposing to use, to determine if there are other more advanced processes that could be used which could result in improved efficiency, improved quality, or improved product design.
CDAMC is flexible in its approach and tailors projects to customers needs. If a project manager is required to ensure that a machine is properly specified, that it incorporates Lean design, that a full FMEA is carried out then CDAMC can provide these services. However, if a customer only requires the project to be reviewed or if they require a mentor or training for their full time staff then CDAMC can put together a package to meet their needs.
CDAMC’s founder Dr. Carl Diver has experience in micro machining using non-traditional manufacturing processes including but not limited to ECM (Electrochemical Machining), EDM (Electro Discharge Machining), AFM (Abrasive Flow machining), laser processing, micro-deburring, polishing, and precision measurement. Carl worked for one of the worlds largest automotive component suppliers and is using the experience he gained from working in that environment to ensure that CDAMC reacts quickly to customer needs, ensures that work is carried out efficiently, effectively and professionally. CDAMC aims to provide real practical solutions to its customers.
CDAMC offers customers the opportunity to carry out R&D and also offers a prototype manufacturing service
CDAMC has a strong international network of associates, links with Universities and Institutes of Technology, experience of working globally and language skills.
